Unit 9: Counters (κ°, λͺ )
In English, we say "two cats" or "three apples." In Easy Korean, we need to use a counter word after the number.
The structure is: Noun + Number + Counter Always use Native Korean numbers (ν, λ, μΈ, λ€...) when counting items.
1. κ° (Items / Objects)
κ° is the most common and general counter. You can use it for almost any inanimate object. - μ¬κ³Ό ν κ° (One apple) - ν λ κ° (Two pens) - κ°λ°© μΈ κ° (Three bags)
2. λͺ (People)
λͺ is the counter used for counting people. - μΉκ΅¬ ν λͺ (One friend) - νμ λ€ λͺ (Four students) - μ¬λ λ€μ― λͺ (Five people)
