Unit 27: Because Of (λ•Œλ¬Έμ—)

We learned -μ•„/μ–΄/μ—¬μ„œ for linking verbs (I was hungry, so I ate). But if you want to say "Because of [Noun]" in Easy Korean, you use λ•Œλ¬Έμ—.

Structure

Noun + λ•Œλ¬Έμ— (Because of Noun)

It's very easy to use! You just attach it right after the noun. - λΉ„ (Rain) -> λΉ„ λ•Œλ¬Έμ— (Because of the rain) - 일 (Work) -> 일 λ•Œλ¬Έμ— (Because of work) - λ„ˆ (You) -> λ„ˆ λ•Œλ¬Έμ— (Because of you)

Examples

  • 감기 λ•Œλ¬Έμ— 학ꡐ에 λͺ» κ°”μ–΄μš”. (I couldn't go to school because of a cold.)
  • 날씨 λ•Œλ¬Έμ— 기뢄이 μ’‹μ•„μš”. (I feel good because of the weather.)
  • 일 λ•Œλ¬Έμ— ν”Όκ³€ν•΄μš”. (I am tired because of work.)
