Practice 1: Conjugation

Change the words into the -는지 or -(으)ㄴ지 form. (Pay attention to Verb vs Adjective!)

  1. 만나다 (verb) -> __________________ 잘 모르겠어요.
  2. 예쁘다 (adjective) -> __________________ 잘 모르겠어요.
  3. 있다 (verb/adj) -> __________________ 잘 모르겠어요. (Hint: 있다/없다 always take -는지)
  4. 학생이다 (noun + 이다) -> 학생__________________ 잘 모르겠어요.

Practice 2: Past Tense

Change the words into the past tense form (-았/었/였는지).

  1. 하다 (did) -> __________________ 잘 모르겠어요.
  2. 먹다 (ate) -> __________________ 잘 모르겠어요.

Practice 3: Translate to Korean

Translate the sentences into Korean.

  1. I don't know if this is expensive. (expensive: 비싸다) -> 이게 ____________________________________.

  2. I don't know who that person is. (who: 누구 / that person: 저 사람) -> 저 사람이 ____________________________________.

  3. I'm not sure if it rained yesterday. (yesterday: 어제 / rain: 비가 오다 -> past tense!) -> 어제 비가 ____________________________________.
