Unit 15: Practically Doing (-

In Unit 26 of Level 7, we learned -다시피 (As you can see). But when you attach 하다 to it, -다시피 하다 means you are "practically doing" something, even if you technically aren't. It's an exaggeration!

Structure

Action Verb Stem + -

(I practically live there)
(I practically starved)
(I go there so often it's as if I go every day)

Examples

(These days I practically live at the office.)
(I had no time, so I practically starved/skipped breakfast.)
(I practically flew because I was so happy.)
